Maithri wishes "A VERY HAPPY AND PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR" to all the students, parents, donors, patrons and volunteers.

FEB 2023

Three buses, more that 275 students go to seek better concentration and devotion to coming exams as they are all given dress , food and writing materials to keep at the feet of Goddess Saraswathi in Chetti Punniam near Chinglepet city at 7 am and back by 2 pm on the third Sunday of February month.

JUNE

For more than two decades, the Spanish team of Mark Saquath Foundation have sponsored our students. They are currently sponsoring 26 students in both Schools and Colleges. The team made their annual visit to Maithri and interacted with few students they were sponsoring, how they are all benefited so far, and their future plans. They are doing this wonderful charity in the name of their first son Mark Saquath. Maithri greatfully thanks them for the excellent educational support.

JULY

Maithri happily announces that, in association with Guindy Trust, two students from Ramakrishna Mission Boys School, T Nagar, have got into medical college.

Independence Day each year is a fresh look at the year ahead. Today is the 77th Independence Day for India.

SEPTEMBER 2023

At Saradha Higher secondary school annual day on 2nd September. Maithri's Miss Sakthi with Akshaya Trust's Madam Saraswathy and chief guest Rtn M.Sesha Sai Honorary Consul General Republic of Seychelles (The Seychelles is an archipelago of 115 islands in the Indian Ocean, off East Africa).
Best students of standards 10 and 12 were given prizes. Maithri Charity was represented by Miss Sakthi.

OCTOBER 2023

Maithri ran a tuition center to prepare for exams

Mr Venkatesh, a maithri student, has become a Bar Council member of Tamilnadu and Pondicherry. Congratulations Mr Venkatesh! This is a first for Maithri and looking forward to more such successes for our students in the future.

Happy Navaratri!

Navaratri celebrations are very prominent in this month and Maithri Students are no different. Everyone is fascinated by Chandrayaan and a model was made by Santhosh. Daily Prasadams were given to all.

NOVEMBER 2023

Birthday celebrations for Maithri Founder Mr Sridhar

On November 5, all students, some with their parents and some with their children, and well wishers gathered to greet and show respect to Maithri founder Sridhar on his birthday. A short program was conducted on the students' success stories and how MAITHRI came to help them and show them ways to become successful in society.
Well-wishers appreciate the students for their sincere support and coming to the function. 11 students of 10th and 12th standards were given cash awards with a silver coin for scoring highest marks for in their annual exams. Food was served to all.

DECEMBER 2023

Maithri is collecting and sending relief items to the flood victims in South Tamilnadu. This includes rice, oil and other items.

We are shocked to hear the death of Santosh, a graduate of Maithri and a tuition teacher, and above all helped trustee Sridhar physically. We pray nature to give strength to the parents, friends and all our students.

On the last saturday of the year 2023, December 30th, the annual Tirupavai competition was held, at the Ramakrishna Boys Main school, T Nagar. Our sincere thanks and Pranaams to Maharaj Swamiji who graced the event. There were 79 participants from multiple schools and private music taining institutions. There were three categories - Classes 1 to 5, Classes 6 to 8 and Classes 9 to 12. Three judges helped select the winner. Below are the list of winners for the event in different groups.
