Maithri wishes "A VERY HAPPY AND PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR" to all the students, parents, donors, patrons and volunteers.

FEB 2024

On 12th of January 2024, notable persons in the field of social services were honoured by Madam Saraswathi of the Akshaya Trust, at the auditorium of the RKM Girls School in T Nagar, Chennai, to mark the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda. Shri Sankar Trivedi chaired the function. Maithri Trust Founder Shri Sreedhar took part in the function and distributed momentos to the very deserving people in the field of social service.

MAR 2024

On 17th March, Maithri Trust Founder Shri Sreedhar participated in the Guindy 1975 Annual Function in Alumni Club, Boat Club Road. He received this respect at the function

In the last week of March, Shruthi, a social foundation opened the annual account of the child care centre in which our trustee SRIDHAR participated.

APR 2024

Our Maithri student, Mohana Priya, scored gold medal in the final examination of 3rd year degree program. She was felicitated and given a check with prize money. We wish Mohana Priya Best Wishes for the future.

More than 25 of our Maithri students are going to write the 10th standard examination. We wish our students the best of luck in the exams.

On the occasion of "National Stress Awareness Month" in April 2024, Way to Wellness, Mylapore centre held a free event on "How to combat stress via Exercise, Yoga, and Meditation" to raise awareness about physical fitness and mental health.
Mr.Sridhar.R of Maithri Educational and Charitable Trust and Ms. Saraswathy.V of Akshaya Trust presided over the event, which had a total of 15 participants.
The founders of Way to Wellness , Ms. Alagu Vishalatchi (Sakthi) & Mr. Akash extend their gratitude to everyone who attended the event. We intend to offer a once-a-monthly free special event.

MAY 2024

Our old student, Raghu Ram, 2022 B.Tech Graduate, visited our Trust and Trustees and handed over his contributions to the trust. We at Maithri appreciate his kind gesture.

JUNE 2024

For more than two decades, the Spanish team of Mark Saquath Foundation have sponsored our students. They are currently sponsoring 26 students in both Schools and Colleges. This year, just like the previous years, the team made their annual visit to Maithri and interacted with few students they were sponsoring, how they are all benefited so far, and their future plans. They are doing this wonderful charity in the name of their first son Mark Saquath. Maithri gratefully thanks them for the excellent educational support.

Our senior Maithri alumnus, Mr Balaji Krishna, visited us. He is recently married on 17th June in Srirangam, and they visited together to seek blessings from our founder, Mr Sridhar. Balaji studied with us from 3rd standard to BE in Sastra University in Tanjore and went to Abu Dhabi, UAE for work. His wife is a jewellery designer in a famous shop in chennai. We wish the couple God's Best Blessings.
